What You Will Do
You will own complex enterprise opportunities from initial engagement through negotiation, closing, implementation handoff, and expansion.
You will:
- Build relationships with executives, technical leaders, commercial stakeholders, operational teams, and end users across large organizations.
- Navigate long, complex sales cycles involving multiple departments, decision-makers, procurement processes, security reviews, legal negotiations, and competing priorities.
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s operations, problems, priorities, and internal decision-making process.
- Design compelling pilots and commercial structures that create a clear path toward large-scale deployment.
- Build strong business cases that connect Entangl’s capabilities to measurable operational and financial outcomes.
- Multi-thread accounts so that opportunities are supported by champions, users, executives, and economic buyers.
- Lead negotiations for six-, seven-, and potentially eight-figure software agreements.
- Expand successful initial deployments across additional sites, teams, regions, and business units.
- Work directly with Entangl’s founders, product team, engineers, and customer teams to shape solutions and remove obstacles.
- Help develop the messaging, processes, playbooks, and standards that will define Entangl’s commercial organization.
- Maintain rigorous control of your pipeline, next steps, stakeholders, risks, and forecast.
- Represent Entangl with exceptional judgment, integrity, preparation, and professionalism.
You have:
- A demonstrated record of selling complex enterprise software.
- Experience closing or materially leading contracts valued from approximately $250,000 to $10 million or more
. - Experience working at a startup during its Series A or Series B stage. Experience joining at Series A or B and remaining through later stages is welcome.
- Personally operated in an environment where the product, messaging, processes, and sales playbook were still being developed.
- Experience selling to large, sophisticated organizations with numerous stakeholders and lengthy decision-making processes.
- The ability to communicate credibly with executives, technical teams, operators, procurement departments, legal teams, and day-to-day users.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to structure deals that create value for both the customer and Entangl.
- A history of building your own momentum rather than relying entirely on inbound leads, brand recognition, or a large sales-development organization.
- The discipline to manage complicated opportunities without losing control of details, commitments, or follow-up.
- The curiosity to understand a customer’s operation rather than simply delivering a standard sales presentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience selling into data centers, critical infrastructure, construction, engineering, industrial technology, real estate, energy, cloud infrastructure, or other complex physical environments is valuable, but not required.
You May Be a Strong Fit IfYou are at your best when the opportunity is large, the route is unclear, and the outcome matters.
You do not wait for perfect materials, perfect processes, or perfect instructions. You gather the necessary context, identify the people who matter, create a strategy, and move the opportunity forward.
You are ambitious without being careless. You are persistent without damaging trust. You know that great enterprise sales requires both urgency and patience.
You care about the people who will actually use the product—not only the executive signing the contract. You want Entangl to become the customer’s favorite vendor at every level of the organization.
You treat the company’s reputation as if it were your own. You do not overpromise to win a deal, hide problems, or sacrifice a long-term relationship for a short-term commission.
You are excited by the possibility of helping build a category-defining company, not simply inheriting a territory and executing an established playbook.
What Success Looks LikeIn your first year, you will be expected to:
- Develop a high-conviction pipeline of strategic enterprise…
