AV Production Specialist

For our client, we are seeking a AV Production Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.

Location:

San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $230,000 – $325,000 annually

• Own and execute technical aspects of live and hybrid events
• Serve as technical director for productions up to company-wide broadcasts
• Build and manage detailed production plans including run-of-show documents
• Direct and coordinate onsite technicians and contractors during events
• Troubleshoot and convey production issues calmly to stakeholders
• Oversee the end-to-end intake and scheduling of event technology requirements
• Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure readiness of AV equipment

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AV operations or live event production
• Proven track record of owning technical execution for live productions
• Fluency in audio, video, camera, and streaming systems with problem-diagnosing skills
• Strong communication skills for conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to develop repeatable systems for event production processes
