Full Job Description:
To assist guests with reservations for dinner and special events as any other inquiries or information regarding Miller & Lux.
The Reservationist will assist the management team and Private Events Director and any necessary doings for bookings no limited to.
Reservationist Responsibilities:
· Working with Maître d’ answering phone calls, returning voicemails, email responses
· Google search Open Table Guests and add any pertinent information to their profile
· InDesign – Menu edits, printing, and updating the website with the current menu training provided
· Continually strive to further education as it relates to food, beverage, and service
· Lead by example by providing excellent hospitality and service at all times
· Anticipate the needs of the restaurant and act upon them
· Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and deliver prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
Private Events Assistant Responsibilities:
· Assist with marketing outreach to conventions, corporate groups, meeting planners, DMCs, hotel partners and others to generate event leads.
· Research upcoming conventions and conferences and identify potential group dining and private event opportunities.
· Support outreach campaigns, maintain prospect lists, and coordinate follow-up with convention and event contacts.
· Track outreach activity, leads, and opportunities while supporting the Event Director & upper management with administrative and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
· US Work Authorization (Required)
· Minimum 2+ years of comparable experience
· Must be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Acute attention to detail
· Effective problem-solving skills
· Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
· Exceptional standards for cleanliness, grooming, and safety
· Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on Holidays
· Food Safety Certification
· Responsible Beverage Certification
· Able to stand/walk for long periods of time
· Develop relationships with guests to create & maintain guest retention
· Experience in dealing with very high end/VIP clientele
· Strong computer literacy, administrative skills, and high-level organization
· Process driven and able to implement operating procedures that will continue to maximize efficiency

Job Type: 30-40 hours Full-time
Physical Setting:
· Restaurant setting – located at Chase Center part of the Golden State Warriors campus. With fine dining experience, we cater to a diversified clientele.
Schedule:
· 6 to 8 hour shift
· Primarily Monday – Friday with occasional weekend and holiday shifts based on Restaurant needs
