Technical Enablement Program Manager – GTM Onboarding
Russell Tobin is supporting a fast-growing, industry-leading AI technology company in hiring a Technical Enablement Program Manager to own the operational execution of a high-impact technical onboarding program supporting Applied AI and Go-to-Market technical teams.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced program manager who thrives in high-growth, fast-moving environments and enjoys building structure around evolving programs. The role combines technical enablement, program operations, live event execution, stakeholder management, and data-driven program improvement.
While this role carries a technical focus, coding experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside technical teams, is fluent with modern AI tools, and can independently identify operational pain points, implement improvements, and manage the full lifecycle of recurring technical onboarding programs.
What You'll DoOwn end-to-end technical onboarding operations
- Serve as the operational owner for recurring in-person technical onboarding cohorts.
- Independently manage the pre-event, live-event, and post-event experience.
- Ensure participants, speakers, materials, technology, rooms, and communications are fully coordinated for every cohort.
- Continuously identify friction points and improve the participant and facilitator experience.
Lead on-site cohort execution
- Run day-of logistics for in-person onboarding cohorts in San Francisco.
- Coordinate room setup, AV and technology checks, materials, catering, timekeeping, and breakout rooms.
- Troubleshoot issues in real time and keep programs running smoothly.
- Manage participant recognition, prizes, and other experience-enhancing elements.
- Capture cohort highlights and coordinate internal recap communications.
Manage cohort administration
- Maintain the program roster as the single source of truth, including new-hire start dates, cohort assignments, attendance, and completion.
- Own participant communications from start to finish, including welcome messages, pre-work, calendar invitations, reminders, and internal collaboration channels.
- Distribute post-program surveys and compile participant feedback.
- Track NPS, qualitative feedback, attendance, and completion metrics.
- Maintain an accurate, actionable program dashboard.
Coordinate speakers and subject matter experts
- Schedule and confirm internal subject matter experts and program speakers.
- Manage speaker deadlines and ensure presentation materials are submitted on time.
- Maintain backup speaker coverage and proactively address scheduling risks.
- Own and continuously improve the program run-of-show.
- Incorporate lessons learned following each cohort.
Drive program operations and improvement
- Own the broader technical productivity program calendar, including cohort schedules, blackout periods, holidays, and company event conflicts.
- Triage incoming enablement requests and maintain an organized backlog for leadership review.
- Maintain project tracking and program status documentation.
- Build and deliver a monthly program scorecard covering cohorts delivered, attendance, completion, NPS, and other relevant KPIs.
- Use participant feedback and program data to identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and scalability.
- Leverage AI tools to streamline repetitive operational workflows, communications, reporting, and program administration.
Build for scale
- Author and maintain a comprehensive Technical Onboarding Operations Playbook documenting processes, workflows, templates, responsibilities, and best practices.
- Create systems that allow the program to scale while reducing reliance on tribal knowledge.
- Ensure the program can be transitioned cleanly at the conclusion of the contract.
- 4+ years of experience in program management, program operations, technical enablement, GTM enablement, learning and development operations, event operations, or a related function.
- Experience independently running recurring in-person programs such as onboarding cohorts, technical training programs, workshops, customer or GTM enablement events, or company offsites.
