About the team
At Turo, product managers guide the process of researching, prioritizing, building, and shipping world-class consumer products that further Turo's mission of reinventing rental to unlock independence for all. They collaborate with every function in the company, artfully aligning user needs with business goals to create and launch product initiatives. In this role, you’ll focus on the products that power the success of Turo’s hosts, the entrepreneurs who supply the vehicles that make our marketplace possible.
You’ll build tools and experiences that help hosts grow their businesses, manage their vehicles efficiently, and deliver delightful trips to guests.
Work with customers and our research, analytics, operations, & marketing teams to deeply understand, analyze, and synthesize host needs into product priorities, roadmaps,, and detailed specifications.
Partner closely with our design, engineering, data, and marketing teams to execute on your roadmap and build outstanding products for hosts.
Own product decisions directly impacting the growth of Turo and our hosts and guests.
Define and own key metrics, and report on the performance of product initiatives to leadership.
Become a trusted advocate and resource for host product initiatives.
6+ years of product management experience leading cross-functional teams to prioritize, build, and ship high-quality software product experiences.
Outstanding judgment and self-direction, with ability to drive major initiatives and create impact autonomously.
Ability to align diverse perspectives, manage competing priorities, and drive consensus across multiple stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative inputs to define business metrics, inform decision-making, and assess impact.
Clear articulation of product strategy, tradeoffs, and decisions to influence partners at all levels.
Humble, low-ego teammates focused on shipping what's best for our customers.
For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is $174,000-$218,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Turo highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursday. Turo considers working in the office at least 3 days per week to be an essential function of this hybrid role.
