Warehouse and Logistics Capability Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Capability Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will shape warehouse and logistics capabilities that support operational growth, geographic expansion, and reliable execution across the organization. You will partner closely with internal teams to define requirements, evaluate tools, and implement processes that improve efficiency, compliance, and scalability. The position will also play a key role in vendor management, risk mitigation, and performance reporting to strengthen day-to-day operations.

Location:

San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $405,000 – $485,000 annually

• Define requirements for new warehouse and logistics capabilities in partnership with internal teams
• Manage the selection and implementation of warehousing and logistics tools
• Support geographic expansion with the appropriate tools and processes
• Conduct RFPs and drive tool selection in alignment with business needs
• Ensure vendor tools are integrated and compliant with internal architecture
• Test and adopt new processes and tools while managing risks effectively
• Develop operational metrics reports to drive continuous improvement

• 5-7 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control
• Proven experience managing third-party logistics providers and carrier contracts
• Knowledge of domestic freight types and related documentation
• Familiarity with safety regulations for shipping IT equipment
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to build operational processes from the ground up
• Willingness to travel to warehouse and data center sites as needed
