Contracts Manager - Biotech

A well-established biotechnology company based in San Francisco is seeking a Contracts Manager to support its legal and business teams. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a contracts professional with experience in the biotech or life sciences sector. The role focuses on managing, drafting, and negotiating a high volume of commercial and research-related agreements while partnering closely with internal stakeholders across scientific, operational, and business functions.

Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, MSAs, SOWs, consulting agreements, and research collaboration contracts

Support contracts related to research and development, clinical activities, and commercial operations

Manage the full contract lifecycle, from intake and review through execution and amendment

Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, and business teams to ensure alignment with company objectives

Maintain contract records, templates, and compliance tracking

Identify and escalate legal or business risks as appropriate
