Business Operations at Rippling isn’t an internal advisory group, it’s the company’s central operating engine. Because Rippling operates on a compound product model, our Biz Ops team works at an extraordinary breadth and speed. You won’t just build decks; you will build systems, execute Tier-1 product launches, overhaul GTM models, and run the operating rhythm of a multi-billion-dollar scale-up.

We are looking for a Biz Ops Director to lead our San Francisco team. In this dual-threat role, you will lead a team of high performers and act as a hands-on operator tackling C-suite strategic bets. Biz Ops is Rippling’s premier talent incubator, for the right leader, this role is a direct launchpad into executive leadership.

• Build & Force-Multiply Top Talent:
  Direct, mentor, and recruit a elite team of Biz Ops operators, turning them into future functional executives.
• Tackle C-Suite Bets:
  Translate high-level executive directives into fully executed, cross-functional programs.
• Proactively Hunt Hotspots:
  Identify operational friction across Product, Eng, Sales, and Ops—then diagnose, design, and deploy structural solutions.
• Own Your Own Stack:
  Build your own SQL queries, model your own dashboards, and analyze your own data. We value operators who get into the weeds.
• Standardize Operating Metrics:
  Partner with Finance and Rev Ops to establish the source-of-truth metrics that govern how Rippling scales.

• 12+ years of experience in top-tier Management Consulting, Biz Ops, or as a VC-backed Founder, including 3+ years of direct people management.
• Proven track record of scaling critical business functions (e.g., Sales Ops, Customer Support, GTM).
• First-Principles Thinking:
  The ability to deconstruct complex, ambiguous problems without relying on playbook templates.
• All-Altitude Operation:
  Equally comfortable sparring on strategy with C-level executives as you are troubleshooting workflows with individual ICs.
• Extreme Data Fluency: A natural inclination toward spreadsheets and raw data over polished slides.
