The Research Resources & Acquisitions Analyst administers the firm's acquisitions and contract support functions for research resources. This position coordinates renewals, attorney surveys, invoice processing, vendor communications, and contract administration while maintaining accurate financial and acquisitions records. The Analyst supports the Manager by coordinating operational aspects of the acquisitions lifecycle and ensuring efficient execution of acquisitions processes.

This position can reside in our Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, , San Francisco, Seattle, Silicon Valley (Palo Alto), or Washington, DC office and follows a hybrid three (3) days per week in-office working arrangement.
What you’ll do:
Coordinates acquisitions, renewals, and cancellations for research resources.
Assists with preparation for procurement, privacy, and information security reviews.
Maintains renewal calendar and tracks upcoming contract expirations.
Collects and analyzes usage reports and other data to support renewal decisions.
Communicates acquisitions related subscription changes to the Access team and other appropriate stakeholders.
Serves as the primary contact for routine vendor communications regarding renewals, pricing, invoices, access, and account administration.
Resolves routine vendor issues and escalates complex matters to the Manager as appropriate.
Reviews invoices for accuracy and completeness prior to payment.
Determines appropriate allocation codes and submits invoices for payment in accordance with firm procedures.
Coordinates with vendors and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
Updates payment information in the integrated library system and maintains cost savings and variance spreadsheets.
Assists with maintaining departmental documentation and workflow procedures.
Supports departmental initiatives related to acquisitions, workflow improvements, and process documentation.
Participates in Research Services initiatives and broader Knowledge Management & Practice Services projects. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Who we’re looking for:
Master’s degree (M.L.S., MLIS or equivalent). Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Minimum 3 years of experience.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to effectively manage work to high quality standards, with a meticulous eye for detail.
Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the firm in a professional manner.
Advanced arithmetic skills (compute rate, ratio, percent; able to draw and interpret graphs and charts).Ability to solve practical problems, dealing with a variety of variables where little standardization exists.
