Job Description
Senior Product Manager – Global Authentication Product Solutioning:
As a Senior Product Manager for Global Authentication Product Solutioning, you will build world class consumer authentication products that will transform the landscape of payment authentication. You will develop solutions that help worldwide consumers reduce checkout friction and seamlessly authenticate purchases directly with merchants and through AI agents. You will help shape Visa’s near and long-term strategy on consumer authentication, consumer payments and related solutions and deliver a product roadmap that brings that strategy to life.
This is a highly technical product role that requires strong product judgment, excellent writing skills, and the ability to operate across internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate can understand complex authentication flows, assess the product and ecosystem impact of specification or capability changes, and recommend practical solutions to them.
You will also work with external companies through industry forums, working groups, and standards-related initiatives. This includes contributing to specification development, translating industry activity into Visa product roadmap, and helping ensure industry work addresses important authentication product pain points and customer implementation challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Advance a unified integration and API strategy across 3DS, Token, and emerging authentication methods to simplify customer integrations using established standards and industry norms.
- Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to evaluate feasibility, understand tradeoffs, and align on product requirements.
- Support troubleshooting of complex product, integration, and customer implementation issues by helping frame problems, assess product impact, align stakeholders, and recommend resolution paths.
- Identify cross-product synergies and recommend opportunities to reuse common APIs, platforms, tools, services, data models, and implementation patterns.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment, execution, and adoption of scalable authentication solutions.
- Engage in client meetings to understand authentication pain points, integration challenges, and business needs while clearly balancing product, technical, and ecosystem limitations.
- Participate in industry working groups through standards organizations to stay current on emerging authentication work and contribute to technical specifications, flows, and implementation guidance.
- Translate client pain points into industry discussions while bringing relevant industry developments back into Visa’s authentication roadmap.
