A very sweet family in Pac Heights is seeking a loving weekend nanny to care for their newborn daughter (currently 8-months-old) as well as provide light support for their 7-year-old son. Responsibilities include engaging with baby and working on developmental milestones, picking up their son from school, child laundry, preparing bottles, meal prep and light cooking for the children, tidying and organization, and occasional errands.
Their ideal candidate is positive and upbeat, genuinely loves working with children and feels childcare is their calling. They prefer someone with a reliable vehicle for driving to child-friendly activities (they have parking available onsite and will reimburse for mileage) and is already familiar with San Francisco, ideally having previously nannied in the city.
SCHEDULE
:
The family can guarantee 12-22 hours per week guaranteed depending on the nanny's preference.
Friday 8 a.m. to 5 or 6 p.m. (9-10 hours)
Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 or 2 p.m. (4-6 hours)
Sunday (optional) 8 a.m. to 12 or 2 p.m. (0-6 hours)
- 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
- Fluency in English
- COVID-vaccinated and ideally has been boosted
- TB and Tdap vaccine
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record with reliable vehicle for work-related driving with mileage reimbursement; family has parking available onsite and will reimburse for mileage

- Must be already familiar with San Francisco; ideally previous experience nannying in SF
- Excellent communication
- Seeking a long term commitment; at least a year ideally longer

- Pick up their son from school on Friday which is in walking distance
- Partner with parents on childcare over the weekend
