Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join a dynamic, award-winning, and industry-leading commercial general contractor in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This role offers long-term career growth and the opportunity to work on high-impact commercial construction projects.
Our Project Managers play a critical role from preconstruction through project closeout, ensuring successful project delivery while fostering strong client relationships and leading high-performing teams.
Responsibilities- Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion
- Oversee overall project delivery, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule expectations are met
- Serve as the primary client point of contact
, maintaining and growing long-term client relationships - Lead and coordinate internal project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and cost controls
- Review and negotiate subcontractor scopes, change orders, and buyouts
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and contract requirements
- Collaborate closely with preconstruction, estimating, and field operations teams
- Provide clear communication and leadership throughout all phases of the project
- Bachelor s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
- Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects (office, lab, life sciences, healthcare, mixed-use, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, scheduling, and cost control
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project, Bluebeam)
- Strong client-facing and business development skills
