Construction Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join a dynamic, award-winning, and industry-leading commercial general contractor in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our Project Managers play a critical role from preconstruction through project closeout, ensuring successful project delivery while fostering strong client relationships and leading high-performing teams.

• Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion
• Oversee overall project delivery, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule expectations are met
• Serve as the primary client point of contact
  , maintaining and growing long-term client relationships
• Lead and coordinate internal project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and cost controls
• Review and negotiate subcontractor scopes, change orders, and buyouts
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and contract requirements
• Collaborate closely with preconstruction, estimating, and field operations teams
• Provide clear communication and leadership throughout all phases of the project

• Bachelor s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
• Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects (office, lab, life sciences, healthcare, mixed-use, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, scheduling, and cost control
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project, Bluebeam)

• Strong client-facing and business development skills
