We are a hiring for a leading electrical and civil contractor delivering complex infrastructure projects across the Bay Area. The team is committed to building safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. We’re looking for a proactive Safety Manager who shares that same dedication to safety excellence.

Position Summary

The Safety Manager will support project and management teams across multiple sites to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company safety standards. This individual will take ownership of the contractor management program with a strong emphasis on excavation and electrical safety
, and play a key role in promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the on-site contractor safety program.
  • Conduct daily safety orientations, inspections, and audits across active project sites.
  • Provide expertise and training in electrical and excavation safety
    , ensuring OSHA compliance.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of the company’s safety management system.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and documentation to track safety performance and corrective actions.
  • Partner with project management, superintendents, and HR to align safety practices with project needs.
  • Participate in investigations, incident tracking, and trend analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote the company’s safety culture through leadership, training, and hands‑on engagement.
Qualifications
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in construction safety
    , ideally within electrical or heavy civil environments
    .
  • OSHA 30 Construction Certification required;
    OSHA 500 preferred.
  • Professional certifications (CSP, ASP, CHST, STSC) are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NEC, ANSI, and state regulations.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety database software.
