We would like to add an experienced Scheduler to our team to work within the established culture and guidelines of the Company. Qualified candidates will support project planning and execution. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with project managers and field teams, tracking progress, and identifying delays to keep projects operating on time and on budget.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collaborate with project teams to manage preconstruction planning, design development, and bid/buy‑out schedules
  • Partner with Marketing to create high level proposal schedules and visualizations.
  • Review prime contracts and project specifications to ensure schedules comply with all applicable Contract Documents.
  • Develop, prepare, update, and maintain baseline schedules, preconstruction schedules, proposal schedules, and month‑end schedule updates.
  • Conduct Critical Path Method (CPM) analyses, Earned Value analyses, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and validate schedule narratives, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractor schedule inputs and integrate their perspectives into the overall schedule.
  • Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with project teams, designers, subcontractors, and stakeholders for sequencing, manpower planning, and milestone development.
  • Alert project teams and owners to potential risks or deviations from plan; assist with mitigation strategies, recovery plans, and variance analysis.
  • Provide risk‑management input for key schedule milestones.
  • Prepare time impact analyses (TIA) to support schedule extensions and delay claims
  • Create visual diagrams, graphics, and variance reports to communicate schedule status and conflicts.
  • Conduct forensic schedule analysis for delay claims, cause‑effect analysis, disruption, and acceleration impacts.
  • Develop project-specific recovery/acceleration plans as required under contract.
  • Collect accurate and timely schedule updates from project teams; perform QA/QC on all schedule data.
  • Review, develop, and report KPIs, data analytics, labor metrics, financial metrics, and scheduling metrics.
  • Oversee P6 database management, including activity coding, cost loading, and resource loading.
  • Assist in developing and conducting scheduling trainings, including Primavera P6 and hands‑on schedule-building workshops.
  • Mentor project teams in scheduling best practices, including change orders and productivity tracking.
  • Help teams with vertical alignment between P6 schedules and detailed tracking tools such as procurement logs, level 4/5 tools, and commitment‑based planning systems.
  • Partner with estimating, safety, and project teams during planning phases.
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the construction industry as a Scheduler or in project controls.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with project teams and staff.
  • Full comprehension of construction sequencing.
  • Understanding of scheduling-related notices, contractual scheduling requirements, and financial projections.
  • Ability to perform cost and resource loading in P6 on a project basis.
