Construction Superintendent

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan and lead the overall execution of construction projects.
• Create and maintain project schedules, punchlists, logistics plans, etc.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and in‑house craft labor personnel to achieve successful and timely project completion while maintaining budget goals.
• Mentor Foremen and Project Engineers in the technical aspects of the job to strengthen our team.
• Maintain an open line of communication with the Project Manager to ensure the success of the project.
• Oversee and direct the on‑site activities of Subcontractors and MCC Craft‑Labor Personnel.
• Manage Self‑Performed work. (Metal Framing/Drywall, Doors, Wood Framing, Interior/Exterior Trim & Misc. Carpentry)
• Implement and enforce site specific safety measures and promote positive safety culture.
• Perform material takeoffs and order material.
• Communicate effectively with design team members, clients and owner's representatives.
• Create and maintain required project documentation in MS Project and Procore.

• A minimum of 5 Years experience as a Superintendent or Senior‑Level Foreman in Commercial Construction.
• Ability to generate comprehensive project schedules in Microsoft Project.
• General Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe or Bluebeam, Procore, etc.
• Superb problem‑solving skills.
• Extensive technical knowledge in all trade contractor scopes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to confidently and effectively communicate our plans, goals, questions and progress to project stakeholders.
• OSHA 30 Certification (May complete immediately post‑employment if not already certified)
• Extensive experience hands‑on experience in commercial carpentry and layout is a plus.
• Existing Carpenters Union members will be permitted to maintain membership.
