Hazen and Sawyer is a creative, employee‑owned company specializing in water and wastewater solutions. We are seeking a Construction Manager to support the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance facilities in the Great Bay and Sacramento areas. The CM will manage construction, coordination, documentation and inspection activities, including daily site supervision, quality control, schedule management, and communication with owners, contractors and design staff.

• Review and interpret contract documents, specifications and drawings.
• Assist in the review of RFIs and shop drawings prepared by the contractor.
• Prepare sketches and assemble data for the Design Engineer.
• Coordinate and facilitate communication among the contractor, Design Engineer, Facility Managers and the Owner.
• Field inspect contractor operations to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Perform quality control on CM operations.
• Review contractor schedules, periodic pay estimates and manage change order reviews.
• Use cloud‑based software such as PROCORE, Unifier, e‑Builder, etc. for project documentation.
• Perform other construction and project management activities as needed.
• Interface with clients and perform client‑management activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant construction experience in heavy construction, mechanical/electrical construction, preferably in the water/wastewater industry.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); proficiency with construction‑specific software such as PROCORE, e‑Builder.
• PE license (plus);
  Certified Construction Manager (CCM), OSHA 10 or other industry certifications (plus).
