About the Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager who thrives on ownership, communication, and building trusted relationships.

You’ll lead multiple commercial construction projects from planning through closeout while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. Success in this role requires initiative, sound judgment, strong organization, and the ability to confidently navigate complex projects with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial projects from preconstruction through occupancy and closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and reporting.
  • Coordinate clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Facilitate meetings, communicate project status, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Review drawings, contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Support vendor procurement, project setup, and overall project planning.
  • Mentor Associate Project Managers and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.
Who Thrives at Summit

You’ll be successful here if you:

  • Take ownership and follow through.
  • Communicate proactively and build trust with clients and teammates.
  • Stay organized and think several steps ahead.
  • Remain calm under pressure and focus on solutions.
  • Enjoy mentoring others and collaborating as one team.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve yourself, your projects, and the organization.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Experience representing owners, tenants, architects, contractors, or project management firms.
  • Experience managing tenant improvements, workplace interiors, capital improvements, or ground-up projects.
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as project needs require.

If you’re looking for a collaborative team where you’ll be trusted with meaningful responsibility, supported in your growth, and challenged to continually improve, we’d love to hear from you.
