Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year

What You’ll Own:
- Turn drawings, specs, and big ideas into accurate, airtight cost estimates — from early conceptual budgets to final hard bids.
- Run detailed quantity takeoffs and build out clean cost breakdowns across labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted scopes.
- Analyze architectural and structural documents to map scope, surface cost drivers, and catch what others miss.
- Gather, level, and pressure-test subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Collaborate with preconstruction, project management, and field teams to keep estimates aligned with real-world goals, schedules, and client expectations.
- Identify value-engineering opportunities and flag risks early to prevent surprises.
- Improve cost data, historical pricing, and unit costs so every estimate becomes tighter.
- Help shape proposals and present numbers in a clear, confident, and credible way.
What You Bring:
- Real estimating experience in residential construction — bonus points for high-end, custom, or luxury work.
- Strong ability to read architectural and structural drawings, specs, and scopes of work.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and current costs.
- Experience with estimating and takeoff software, plus standard spreadsheet and project tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple bids and deadlines without compromising quality.
- Collaborative, proactive, client-first mindset that thrives on a tight, quality-focused team.
