Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for overall project performance, including budget, schedule, quality, contracts, and client satisfaction. You will work closely with firm leadership, field teams, subcontractors, clients, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered at the highest level.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, solution-driven; and able to think strategically and critically, mentor team members, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong relationships across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Take ownership and be accountable for budget, schedule, quality, and client relationships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee project strategy, planning, and execution.
Preconstruction
  • Participate in estimating, budgeting, and value engineering.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and constructability.
  • Coordinate with design teams and consultants.
  • Develop and review project schedules, phasing plans, and logistics plans.
Project Execution
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, invoicing, and performance.
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, and change orders in accordance with company standards and protocols.
  • Track project costs, budgets, and forecasting.
  • Negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure schedule adherence and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control.
  • Comply with the prime contract requirements.
  • Manage challenging construction issues.
  • Deliver to the Client all documents, operating manuals and maintenance manuals upon project completion and closeout.
Team and Field Coordination
  • Work closely with superintendents and field teams.
  • Coordinate and manage across internal project teams and external partners.
  • Ensure clear communication between office and job site.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent regarding scheduling, sequencing, resources, and safety.
  • Manage project financials, including budgets, cost tracking, and billing.
  • Review and approve invoices and pay applications.
  • Monitor profitability and drive cost control.
Qualifications
  • 7 – 12+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects (interiors, TI, ground-up, adaptive reuse, or complex builds).
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and documentation.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required (Construction Management, Engineering, or related field).
