Job Description & How to Apply Below

A confidential, nationally recognized real estate developer known for architecturally distinctive, skyline-defining luxury high‑rise communities is hiring a Construction Project Manager to lead a brand-new, ground‑up residential tower in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a newly created seat with full ownership of the project from pre‑development through close‑out, reporting directly to senior Development and Construction leadership.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Own all phases of construction on a Class A, luxury high‑rise residential tower from pre‑development through close‑out
  • Build and manage detailed construction schedules, including critical path tracking, across a multi‑year project timeline
  • Direct and negotiate with general contractors and major subcontractors, since the company does not self‑perform construction work
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, bidding, and change order approval
  • Protect architectural intent and luxury finish standards throughout construction, partnering closely with the design team
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to senior leadership and outside partners
  • Conduct site inspections to confirm compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • 7 to 12‑plus years of construction project management experience, including hands‑on high‑rise experience (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated track record delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Comfort managing subcontracted general contractors rather than self‑performing crews
  • Experience reviewing architectural and interior design documents and managing design‑to‑construction handoffs
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Procore, Primavera, or similar project management software
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with high attention to detail on finishes and materials
WHY THIS ROLE:
  • Lead a brand‑new, ground‑up project from day one rather than stepping into someone else's plan
  • Multi‑year runway of three to four years gives real continuity and ownership
  • Direct line to senior Development and Construction leadership
  • Work on a skyline‑defining, design‑forward luxury asset in one of the most competitive real estate markets in the country
