Project Manager - Mechanical Construction

We're seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in mechanical systems, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of commercial mechanical construction projects, including planning, execution, financial management, and closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Lead coordination with owners, engineers, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Monitor project performance, productivity, quality, and profitability.
  • Manage procurement, contract administration, and change orders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving issues that impact schedule or budget.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure safety, compliance, and project quality standards.
  • Provide consistent communication and reporting to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of project management experience in mechanical, HVAC, or commercial construction.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Autodesk Build, MS Project, or similar platforms.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
