Description
We offer fellowship opportunities with our Editorial teams in each of our publishing categories. Fellows will have a variety of responsibilities which may include evaluating manuscripts, aiding in submissions, sorting and sending out decline notices as needed, drafting copy and acquisition materials, preparing sales materials, performing competitive research, helping with mailings, attending meetings, participating in brainstorming, and handling other administrative tasks.
Fellows assisting the Art & Entertainment editors will work on publishing in the categories of pop culture, art, photography, how-to creativity, humor, pets, trivia, travel, illustrated classics, and sex, creating beautiful books as well as clever gifts and stationery.
- Fulltime, temporary, non-exempt, 37.5 hours / week position, paid $21.64/hr

Fellows will follow a M – F hybrid schedule of working a minimum of 3 days per week and up to 4 days per week in our San Francisco office. Due to the high level of interest in these roles, we will only be able to contact candidates we are considering placing, and we will not be able to review general requests for Fellowships.

RequirementsAll Fellows must be highly organized, flexible, and able to effectively multitask. Editorial or copywriting experience is a plus.
