THE WORK
As a Ripple intern, you will work on challenges that impact our mission and shape our company. With support from your team, access to learning and development resources, and opportunities for fun along the way, our program will give you the foundation to start your career journey.
As a Web Experience Design Intern, you will collaborate closely with the Web Design team and other cross-functional partners across Marketing and various teams within Ripple. You'll support large initiatives across and XRPL.org while helping evolve our design system foundations, component library, and web documentation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Complete design tasks across and XRPL.org under mentorship from senior team members
* Apply existing web guidelines, systems, and components to create consistent, high-quality designs
* Assist in maintaining and expanding the web design system, including components, tokens, and documentation
* Contribute to wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that support new features and enhancements
* Help create and update responsive, accessible web pages within established workflows
* Participate in design reviews and respond to feedback constructively
* Learn and follow established design processes for system building, documentation, and cross-team collaboration
* Engage in creative sessions to explore interaction, motion, and UX improvements
* Explore design trends, tools, and methodologies relevant to web design and design systems
* Run multiple tasks with support from senior designers, ensuring timely delivery
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate, or Graduate degree preferably in a Web Design, Digital Design, or related field
* Available to work for 12 weeks during Summer 2026, beginning in May or June.
* Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship
* A portfolio showcasing strong foundational design skills visual design, typography, layout, interaction, and web work
* Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
* Familiarity with responsive build principles and basic accessibility guidelines
* Curiosity about design systems, components, and scalable web structures
* Good communication skills and a collaborative, open demeanor
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks with support
* Willingness to take direction, ask thoughtful questions, and iterate based on feedback
* Passion for learning and proactively developing new skills
* Experience or interest in design system building, contributing to large web projects, or working with multi-team collaboration is a plus
* Familiarity with HTML and CSS is a plus
