As Staff Product Designer, you’ll be the principal hands-on designer for our creation suite. You will own end-to-end user experience— from early research and prototyping through polished, pixel-perfect interfaces—across image, video, 3D, and audio workflows. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to translate game-studio pain points into elegant, intuitive tools that feel “built for artists.”
This is a senior individual‑contributor (IC) role with company-wide impact: you’ll set design quality bars, evolve our design system, and mentor other designers as the team grows.
What you'll do- Lead product design for flagship features—concept sketches, user flows, wireframes, high‑fidelity mocks, and interactive prototypes.
- Drive artist‑centric research: plan studies, run interviews, synthesize insights, and turn findings into clear action.
- Shape our design system (components, patterns, tokens) to keep experiences cohesive across web and desktop surfaces.
- Collaborate tightly with VP of Product & VP of Engineering to scope MVPs, validate interaction models, and refine in iterative releases.
- Champion accessibility & craft—ensure every interaction feels fast, delightful, and inclusive.
- 7+ years of product/UX design with at least 2 years designing complex creator or B2B SaaS tools.
- Mastery of Figma, Storybook, and Material UI (or equivalent), rapid prototyping, and design‑system thinking.
- Fluency in user-centered research methods and ability to translate research into strategic product decisions.
- Proven track record collaborating with cross‑functional partners in an agile, fast‑moving startup environment (bonus if you have worked closely with startup user acquisition testing).
- Excellent written and spoken English; you can articulate design rationale to artists, engineers, and executives alike.
- Experience with generative‑AI, UA Ads, game‑art pipelines, or game art tools (e.g., Unreal, Unity, Blender).
- Experience designing conversational interfaces with AI agents.
- Experience in designing realtime collaborative experiences.
- Familiarity with Gaming, Live Ops, or Ad Tech.
Don’t worry if you don’t meet every single requirement—if you’re enthusiastic and ready to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
