At your core, you’re an idea machine. You dream in headlines and taglines, think strategically, and write like you mean it, whether it’s a campaign, script, manifesto, or a one-liner that makes someone stop mid-swipe. You build narratives that move markets, shape brands, and make complex B2B tech feel human (and even fun).
As the creative lead on words and ideas, you’ll steer clients, rally teams, and keep the work fresh, sharp, and just the right amount of audacious. Responsibilities- Lead ideation, storytelling, and messaging strategy across brand initiatives, campaigns, and integrated creative work.
- Turn business goals into bold brand platforms, sharp messaging frameworks, and unforgettable storylines.
- Collaborate with strategy, design, UX and motion teams to create fully integrated, story-driven work and ensure seamless creative alignment.
- Craft compelling copy across every channel—brand, demand gen, OOH, social, web, video, and long-form content (blogs, whitepapers, etc).
- Champion brand voice and tone, bringing clarity, emotion, and consistency to every word.
- Lead revisions with purpose and elevate the writing through collaboration and craft.
- Copy edit, QA and oversee final approvals for all messaging deliverables.
- Guide, mentor, and inspire writers and cross-disciplinary creatives.
- Help recruit, onboard, and develop freelance and full-time talent.
- Share advertising experience, knowledge and perspective to uplevel our entire creative team and work.
- Stay ahead of content trends, storytelling formats, and emerging tech and AI to continually raise the creative team’s bar for narrative craft, voice, standards and processes.
- Present creative work with confidence, clarity, and charm, selling ideas internally and externally.
- Serve as the steward and advise clients on tone, voice, and creative direction that drives results.
- Defend bold ideas, iterate with intent, and make the work stronger through smart collaboration.
- Jump into new business pitches and creative proposals with enthusiasm and wit.
- 8–12+ years of experience in an agency or creative environment with a strong foundation in copywriting and concepting.
- At least 5 recent years in an agency setting
- 3–5 years in a senior creative or leadership role (ACD, CD, or Creative Lead).
- Proven record of breakthrough ideas and creative writing excellence across channels and formats.
- Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual campaigns, strategic insight, and tonal versatility.
- Experience with B2B, tech, and other complex or high-consideration industries.
- Deep understanding of design, motion, and visual storytelling, able to ideate with visuals in mind.
- Skilled in brand strategy, naming, and tone-of-voice development.
