Creator-in-Residence; Internship

Position: Creator-in-Residence (Internship)
We're looking for a creative, execution-driven Creator-in-Residence to help elevate 500 Global's brand through high-impact short-form video content. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes content creation - especially short-form video across platforms like Linked In, Instagram, Tik Tok, and X - and understands how to turn ideas, events, and ecosystem moments into engaging, shareable stories. You will work closely with the Global Investment Team to capture insights, behind-the-scenes moments, founder stories, and ecosystem highlights - translating them into compelling, platform-native content.

While this role includes light event support (capturing content at events, assisting with coordination, and ensuring strong on-site storytelling), the primary focus is short-form video production and creative execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Concept, script, shoot, and edit short-form video content for multiple social platforms Develop creative angles that translate venture, startups, and founder stories into engaging content Capture and repurpose content from events, meetings, and ecosystem moments Manage content calendars and publishing schedules Track engagement and iterate based on performance Provide support in event coordination and on-site content capture when needed Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in content creation, digital media, or social media management Strong experience producing short-form video content (Reels, Tik Toks, Linked In videos, You Tube Shorts, etc.) Strong storytelling instincts and understanding of platform-specific trends Comfortable filming in dynamic environments (events, panels, networking spaces) Basic understanding of the startup, tech, or venture ecosystem is a strong plus Highly organized and able to manage multiple content pieces simultaneously Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Portfolio required (please include links to short-form video work)

Preferred Qualifications:

AI fluency. You are on top of the latest trends and tools in AI and are comfortable using them and understanding the broader perspective across the AI landscape. Highly curious and a rapid learner, able to ramp up quickly and develop strong subject-matter understanding in a short time. Experience in venture capital, startups, innovation programs, accelerators, or founder-focused ecosystems. Experience coordinating events, webinars, and ecosystem activations (including speakers, partners, RSVP systems).

Working knowledge of web and social analytics tools (Google Analytics, Linked In Insights, Meta Business Suite, etc.). Experience supporting a global, multicultural team, with strong sensitivity to regional nuance and brand consistency. Strong interest or exposure to storytelling about founders, innovation, investment trends, and impact narratives.
