About the Role

As a Product Designer, you’ll work closely with engineers to design intuitive, high‑quality experiences across Cara. You’ll own projects from concept through launch, help shape our design system, and collaborate with Marketing to extend Cara’s design language across our website, launches, and other customer‑facing experiences.

  • Own end‑to‑end product design, from user flows and prototypes through polished production experiences.

  • Collaborate closely with the product and engineering team to define problems and ship high‑quality products.

  • Simplify complex insurance workflows and AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences.

  • Build and evolve Cara’s design system, reusable components, and interaction patterns.

  • Talk with customers and incorporate user feedback into product and design decisions.

  • Partner with Marketing on our website, product launches, campaigns, and other brand experiences.

What You Have

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, interaction design, and visual craft.

  • Experience working closely with product managers and engineers to ship production software.

  • Experience building or contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries.

  • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with experience creating polished 2D graphics and visual assets for product and marketing.

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working quickly in a fast‑moving startup.
