The iMPACt Center for Art & Dance is a Bay Area performing arts, public gathering and arts service hub operated by Mannakin Theater & Dance. It has 4,000 square feet of sprung dance floors, a full theatrical lighting grid, professional sound, dressing rooms with showers, ample reception space, a generous building lobby, an administrative office suite and room for a fully-equipped kitchen.
The main theater seats 150.
The Facilities and Programming Coordinator is a part-time position based at the iMPACt Center for Art & Dance. The new team member will report to and cooperate with executive staff towards management of day-to-day facility operations at the iMPACt Center for Art & Dance.
Duties include:
- Coordinate with and support renters
- Initiate, curate, and oversee performance programs produced by the iMPACt Center for Art & Dance
- Oversee event logistics and technical requirements such as: venue setup, audiovisual and lighting needs, guest services, and staffing requirements to deliver seamless event execution
- Oversee facility maintenance and operations to guarantee safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all spaces before, during, and after events
- Collaborate with marketing staff to promote upcoming events through various channels including social media, email campaigns, and community outreach efforts
- Supervise a team of staff or volunteers during events to ensure high-quality customer service and efficient operations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously by applying effective time management strategies while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams
- Assist with outreach to potential program sponsors
- Strong organizational and cooperation skills
- Proven ability in event planning from concept through execution with a focus on detail orientation
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement
- Interest in event management and technical production
- Strong customer service orientation combined with professional demeanor in diverse settings
- Willingness to learn sponsorship outreach
