San Francisco Public Library invites artists to apply to be the featured 2027 illustrator for Summer Stride, the citywide reading and learning program presented with partners.
The selected artist will create art inspired by a recent children's book, with work featured on 28 library buildings, bookmobiles, posters, tote bags, and transit ads, plus a robust digital and social media campaign reaching over 500,000 people. A $5,000 stipend is offered.
