The opportunity
Adobe Design is looking for a Product Designer to join the Document Cloud team, focused on growth for Acrobat Mobile. This role is a good fit if you find yourself interested in how products grow, not just how they look and feel, and you want to build your skills at the intersection of design, user behavior, and business outcomes.
What you’ll doContribute to growth design work across Acrobat Mobile, including onboarding flows, entry points, engagement surfaces, and retention features, working within established design patterns and with guidance from senior designers.
Produce sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts clearly to your team.
Engage with funnel and behavioral data alongside your partners, developing your ability to identify where users drop off and translate those signals into design hypotheses.
Support experiments by designing test variations, paying attention to what each variation is trying to learn, and helping document outcomes.
Connect your design decisions to the user behavior and business metric they are intended to influence, and communicate that reasoning clearly in team reviews.
Apply mobile design patterns consistently across iOS and Android, with close attention to detail in behaviors, terminology, and platform standards.
Participate in user research activities and bring what you learn back into your design thinking.
Track and incorporate feedback from collaborators, design leads, and your manager throughout the design process.
2+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating solid UX craft and clear interaction thinking.
Genuine interest in growth as a design domain. You should be able to speak to why it interests you, not just that you have been exposed to it.
Curiosity about business metrics and user behavior. You do not need to be a data expert, but you should be comfortable asking questions of data and motivated to develop that muscle.
Ability to produce work at multiple fidelities, from quick sketches and wireframes to polished high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
Knowledge of mobile design principles and an understanding of iOS and Android platform conventions.
Proficiency in Figma, with ability to express design concepts at high fidelity.
Good communication skills and a collaborative working style. You share work early and welcome critique.
Ability to manage your own time within a project schedule and meet design deadlines reliably.
A genuine passion for mobile, an active curiosity about how the landscape is shifting, and a point of view on what it means for the people using these products.
Some exposure to growth, PLG, activation, or conversion design work, even in a supporting or self-directed capacity.
Familiarity with A/B testing concepts or basic experimentation workflows.
Experience designing for document or productivity applications.
Curiosity about AI-assisted design and development tools, such as Cursor, Replit, or Claude Code.
A degree in design is not required. A strong portfolio and resume will speak for themselves.
Growing awareness of accessible and inclusive design practices.
Familiarity with WCAG conformance criteria and interest in applying them in design reviews and critiques.
