Social Video Producer
You'll turn what we're building at Firecrawl into videos people want to watch and share. A founder with a strong take. A quick look at something new in the product. A moment with the team worth capturing. You'll find the story, come up with the concept, shoot it, edit it, and publish it. Then you'll look at how it performed and use that to make the next one better.
Your main focus is fast, natural short-form content made for social. You'll work mostly behind the camera, directing founders and teammates and bringing your own ideas to life, and occasionally help with more polished launch videos. You'll be based with us in San Francisco and travel to capture stories where they happen.
Salary Range: $148,000–$168,000 USD/year
Equity Range: Competitive equity. Details shared during the process.
Location: San Francisco, CA (SF HQ). On-site, five days a week. Travel required for shoots.
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3+ years shooting, editing, and publishing short-form video, or a body of work that makes the case
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States. We're not able to sponsor US visas right now, though that may change down the line.
About FirecrawlFirecrawl is the easiest way to turn the web into data AI agents can use. One API call converts any URL into clean, LLM-ready markdown or structured data. It's the boring-hard problem everyone building with LLMs eventually hits, solved.
We hit 8 figures in ARR in year one and more than doubled it in year two. We have 180k+ Git Hub stars, putting us in the top 50 repositories of all time, and developers, agents, and category-defining AI companies build on us every day. Growth like this is rare, and we're just getting started.
We're a small team punching far above our weight, working out of SF HQ and our new Toronto Hub. Everyone here owns a real piece of the product and company, end to end, and runs it themselves. No hiding behind process or headcount.
This is a place for people who want to work at the frontier: an AI company building the infrastructure other AI companies run on, not one bolting AI onto an existing product. We move fast, go deep, and are building the tools superintelligence will rely on to gather data from the web.
What You'll DoTurn "we should make a video about that" into a video. Spot something worth sharing, get behind the camera, and take it through the edit to publishing. Find the hook, nail the pacing, and make the sound and captions work for the story
Develop recurring short-form formats around our founders, product, customers, and team that people come back for
Work with product and engineering to understand what we're building and find a clear, interesting way to show it. They'll help with technical details and complex demos; you'll bring the storytelling and production craft
Film in the office and on the road: launches, events, customer stories, conversations, and behind-the-scenes moments. Help people feel comfortable and natural on camera
Support larger launch videos when needed with footage, edits, or social cutdowns
Own the publishing calendar. Coordinate with the marketing team, prepare the copy and channel-specific versions, and get videos out while the story is still relevant
Track views, watch time, retention, shares, and audience growth. Share which hooks, topics, and formats connect, and use that to decide what to make next
You have strong instincts for story, hooks, and pacing. You can spot a good moment and turn it into something someone else cares about
You can run a lean shoot yourself: camera, sound, lighting, and directing. You're comfortable using a phone when it suits the idea
You can take footage through a finished edit, including clean audio,…
