Senior Product Designer at fal responsible for owning end-to-end product design across web and true mobile experiences, building and maintaining design systems, and rapidly prototyping (including AI-assisted/vibe-coding approaches) to help ship generative-media features in a high-velocity startup.

fal is hiring a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end product design for features across web and dedicated mobile experiences. You will move quickly while maintaining visual craft and consistency, drive design system adoption, prototype rapidly (including AI-assisted/vibe-coding approaches), and partner closely with engineering and product to ship and iterate.

• Own product design from problem framing through flows, UI states, edge cases, handoff, QA, and iteration.
• Design across web and true mobile experiences (dedicated mobile screens and mobile patterns, not just responsive web).
• Build and maintain the design system (components, tokens, variants, patterns, docs) and drive adoption with engineering.
• Prototype fast using Figma and AI/vibe-coding tools to validate direction.
• Partner tightly with engineering and product to ship quickly and iterate post-launch using metrics and customer feedback.
• Run lightweight user research and scrappy usability testing (customer calls, quick validation).
• Produce lightweight go-to-market/design artifacts when needed (Google Slides decks, simple graphic/brand assets).

• Strong product UI/visual craft with a portfolio of shipped work.
• Experience designing both web and native mobile product experiences (understands mobile UI patterns, navigation paradigms, constraints, and edge cases).
• Solid experience with design systems (components, tokens, variants, documentation) and working with engineering for adoption.
• Comfortable owning features end-to-end in a high-velocity startup (handoff, QA, iteration).
• Prototyping mindset that includes AI-assisted / vibe-coding prototyping; code-based prototyping is a plus.
• Ability to run scrappy user research/testing and iterate from customer feedback.
• Accessibility and responsive fundamentals, plus the ability to design true mobile experiences.
• Strong cross-functional communication and ability to define success metrics with PM/Eng.

• Familiarity with generative media, LLMs, or image/video model UX patterns (prompts, parameters, evaluation, latency/quality tradeoffs).
• Front-end literacy (React, Type Script, CSS) and/or Storybook-style component workflows.
• Willingness to support light GTM/design needs (pitch decks, simple marketing assets).
• Any graphic or brand design experience or interest.
