The San Francisco Chronicle, part of Hearst Communications, Inc., is seeking a Breaking News Reporting Intern for Summer 2027. This paid, 12-week internship includes training, mentoring, and hands-on reporting on diverse stories from the newsroom and in the field.
We value strong writing, quick story instincts, and a collaborative spirit. College students or recent grads from Bay Area schools are encouraged to apply; full-time hours may be required with a typical Monday–Friday schedule.
