Financial District Dentistry is looking for a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant (RDA Preferred) to join our dynamic team in the heart of San Francisco, CA. Responsibilities:- Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, and cosmetic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and dental equipment in compliance with infection control protocols
- Take and develop digital X‑rays (radiographs) as directed by the dentist
- Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and updates in dental practice management software
- Educate patients on post‑operative care and proper oral hygiene practices
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed
- Support front office staff with scheduling, patient communication, and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license preferred; DA experience required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards
- Experience with dental X‑rays and digital imaging systems
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient‑first, compassionate attitude
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy, professional office setting
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
