We are seeking a Junior/Intermediate Designer with 3-4 years of experience in commercial interiors to join our architecture studio in San Francisco, CA
.
The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality interior design solutions for workplace, retail, and other commercial projects. This role offers exposure to collaborative project teams and opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic design environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and development of commercial interior projects from concept through completion
- Prepare detailed drawings, presentations, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- Collaborate with senior designers, architects, and project managers to execute design intent
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and presentations
- Conduct research on materials, finishes, and furnishings for project proposals
- Ensure design solutions meet project budgets, schedules, and quality standards
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for construction and client use
- 3-4 years of experience in commercial interior design
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software
- Strong understanding of commercial interiors, materials, and furniture systems
Ability to create presentation materials, 3D models, and renderings - Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple project tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction documentation a plus
