Principal Product Designer

The Principal Product Designer will be responsible for crafting the overall experience of the Kinship app, from onboarding to interaction with vets and other app tools that help pet parents care for their pets. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with cross-functional partners in Product Management and Engineering to design seamless digital experiences that integrate with offline interactions, providing an exceptional global impact.

What you will do

• Define and deliver a strategic design vision for the Kinship app, including onboarding, vet interactions, and tools to support pet care.

• Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to create intuitive, scalable user experiences.

• Lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet business and user needs. Collaborate with other designers to elevate design standards across the team.

• Translate insights from research and user testing into actionable design solutions.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with Kinship's brand and product strategy.

• Advocate for the user while balancing business objectives and technical constraints.

• Innovate in bridging digital and offline experiences, ensuring a cohesive user journey.

What we are looking for

• Extensive product design experience, with specific experience working on mobile apps (iOS & Android).

• Proven track record of delivering impactful consumer-facing digital experiences

• Deep expertise in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch)

• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and user-centered design solutions

• Experience with designing for mobile platforms (iOS and Android)

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices

• Demonstrated ability to integrate digital and offline user experiences

• Strong communication skills and the ability to advocate for design decisions across teams

• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
