Compensation range: $75,000 - $82,500 Annually
The base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.

This is a career-level design position. Works both independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop creative interior space solutions to meet customer needs. Includes engaging with customers to gather project information (surveys, interviews, data collection, observations), performing field verifications, space planning, furniture and material selections, product specification, and quality assurance. Involved in design projects and related tasks from inception to final installation.
Responsibilities:
- Distill and analyze project information.
- Conduct product research and contact vendors for pricing and information.
- Engage with customers to gather project information (surveys, interviews, data collection, observations) and to uncover customer challenges.
- Perform field measurements and inventory products.
- Specify furniture and finishes required per the final layouts.
- Produce and present design concepts to customers.
- Generate, organize, and maintain CAD/CET files.
- Produce furniture block plans, space plans, finish palettes, furniture specifications, and installation drawings; create, revise, and plot design drawings.
- Develop validation packages and spreadsheets.
- Delegate and coordinate independently with Design support teams.
- Estimate budgetary hours and manage and monitor project hours.
- Prepare design budgets and design proposals.
- Responsible for individual tasks and duties as well as overall project results and outcomes.
- Serve as a mentor for other designers.
- Assist in the onboarding process.
- Track and manage time entries daily.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Interior or Architectural Design, Associate Arts degree or equivalent from a two-year college will be considered, with at least 5 years of related design experience. Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) or National Architecture Board (NAB) accreditation preferred. Prior experience with system furniture products is a plus. One or more professional certifications encouraged: NCIDQ, CID, LEED AP, WELL AP, EDAC, 6 Sigma, PMI, etc.
