- You have advanced skills in interaction and visual design, and you can take a problem from discovery through high-fidelity execution and launch. You contribute new ideas to the design direction and provide thoughtful feedback to peers.
- You ground solutions in specific customer problems. You can synthesize existing research, run well-structured user tests or interviews, and interpret product metrics to make data-informed decisions and define success criteria.
- You apply the design system consistently, review work for system usage, and suggest improvements to patterns and component application when gaps appear. You think in end-to-end flows, including pre- and post-product experiences, and pivot based on customer feedback.
- You communicate clearly, set context, and present design work with a strong narrative. You have a reliable approach to working with partners, and you collaborate effectively with product teams (beyond your immediate triad when needed) to align goals and deliver platform capabilities teams can adopt.
Lead design for small-to-medium initiatives in Fintech/Money, owning outcomes from problem framing through shipped experience.
- Partner closely with product management, engineering, data, and research to align on goals, constraints, and success metrics.
- Create user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and risk/compliance constraints.
- Apply the design system with a high quality bar and help improve consistency across related surfaces and journeys.
- Use qualitative and quantitative inputs to iterate, evaluate tradeoffs, and measure impact after launch.
- Contribute to team health through critique, documentation, and practical suggestions to improve process and collaboration.
- 4+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showing end-to-end ownership and shipped work.
- Advanced proficiency in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Comfort using research and product data to guide decisions and evaluate outcomes.

Bay Area: $149,000 - $201,500
