Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Director of Technology/BIM to join our dynamic team on-site in San Francisco, CA. The Director of Technology/BIM will oversee the firm’s technological strategy and deliverables related to Building Information Modeling (BIM). Responsibilities include developing and managing IT strategies, leading IT-related initiatives, implementing and maintaining efficient BIM workflows, and providing technical support for design and project teams.

Additionally, the role entails coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of technology within the design process and fostering an innovative, collaborative, and effective working environment.

Qualifications
  • Experience in Information Technology, IT Strategy, and supporting technical infrastructure within the architecture or design industry.
  • Strong Program Management and Project Management skills to oversee complex, multidisciplinary technology and design projects.
  • Proven Team Leadership capabilities to mentor and guide technical and design teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in BIM software and workflows, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and environmentally conscious design practices is a plus.
