Here at Ingenio, we'd love to talk with you regardless of your qualifications or years of experience. If you believe you’d be a great fit for this role, we invite you to apply even if you do not meet all points on the job description.
Who we are:
Ingenio is on a mission to make spiritual wellness a core part of modern self-care. We are a global media and technology company developing products that provide guidance on love, relationships, careers, and all aspects of life. We are passionate about connecting people with the world’s best advisors and content to restore spiritual wellness to its rightful place, easing the stress of modern life with trusted ancient practices.
Our global portfolio spans over 20 marketplace and media brands in the spiritual and emotional wellness space. Our flagship brands include Keen, , , Purple Garden, Kasamba, and Kang.
How you'll be impactful:
As the Manager, UX Design for Keen, you’ll lead the design vision, visual craft, and team that shape one of Ingenio’s flagship consumer marketplaces. 2026 is a transformative year for Keen: we’re executing a full product rebrand, rethinking the end-to-end experience across our consumer and advisor surfaces, and modernizing our design system. You’ll own the design strategy and set the bar for quality, manage and mentor a team of two designers, and partner closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, and our external design partner.
This is a role for someone who is equally strong in UX and UI. We’re looking for a leader with exceptional visual taste, a systems mindset, and the judgment to make confident design decisions at every altitude, from brand expression down to component states. You should be comfortable setting vision one day and being hands‑on designing projects in Figma the next.
Please note:
This role will require being in our SF office at least 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday).
- Lead the design vision for Keen’s 2026 rebrand and product redesign, setting the aesthetic direction, interaction standards, and visual language that define our next chapter
- Directly manage, coach, and grow two designers, setting clear expectations, running craft-focused critiques, and creating real space for their career development
- Raise the bar on both UX (flows, information architecture, interaction patterns, research) and UI (visual design, typography, color, motion, component systems) across every surface we ship
- Lead design for high‑impact product areas including consumer search and discovery, advisor browsing and booking, live session experiences (calls and chats), and advisor‑facing tools like scheduling, availability, and earnings
- Partner day‑to‑day with the Head of Product, Engineering, Growth to translate strategy into a cohesive, beautifully executed product experience
- Roll up your sleeves and ship hands‑on design work when priorities, timelines, or team capacity call for it, treating no problem as too small
- Champion AI inside the design team, both in our workflow (tooling, prototyping, research synthesis) and in the product itself (AI‑powered search, advisor matching, and session experiences)
- Stay current on design trends in consumer marketplaces, mobile‑first products, and AI‑native experiences, and translate them into a clear point of view for Keen
- Establish the rituals, review practices, and documentation that scale design quality as the team grows
- Define and evolve a scalable design system and component library, ensuring compatibility with Tailwind and enabling fast, consistent implementation across all product surfaces
- 8+ years of product design experience, with demonstrated depth in both UX and UI. Portfolio must show strong visual craft alongside thoughtful interaction and systems thinking
- 3+ years directly managing designers, with a clear track record of growing ICs into stronger designers and stronger people
- Exceptional design taste and a high aesthetic bar. We want to see work that looks great, not just work that works
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to a major rebrand, product redesign, or 0 to 1 consumer product effort
- Deep experience with design systems:…
