About the Role
ALISONDAMONTE is a San Francisco–based residential interior design studio. Our work is rooted in curiosity and a deep respect for material, history, and craft, creating spaces shaped by color, texture, and layered reference. We are a small, collaborative studio that values long-term relationships, thoughtful execution, and a willingness to explore ideas across eras, materials, and disciplines, working closely with artists, artisans, and makers to build projects that are personal and considered.
We are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer with professional experience in high-end residential interior design to join our growing studio. This role is ideal for a thoughtful, highly organized designer who is ready to take increasing ownership of projects while continuing to develop within a collaborative and design-focused environment.
Responsibilities- Support and lead portions of residential interior design projects from concept through installation
- Develop and maintain AutoCAD drawing sets, including plans, elevations, and interior details
- Create and modify Sketch Up models and presentation materials
- Contribute to design development, furniture layouts, finish selections, and material palettes
- Prepare client presentations using Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suite
- Source furnishings, lighting, textiles, materials, and decorative elements
- Coordinate with vendors, workrooms, fabricators, and consultants
- Assist with procurement tracking, project organization, and studio systems
- Conduct site visits, showroom sourcing, and installation support throughout the Bay Area
- Maintain organized project files, schedules, and documentation
- 3–6 years of professional experience in residential interior design required
- Previous experience working at a residential interior design firm strongly preferred
- Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency required
- Sketch Up proficiency preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and Google Suite
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to take initiative while working collaboratively within a small studio environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong design sensibility and interest in materials, furnishings, and interiors
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally throughout the Bay Area required
