About The Role

Hinge Health is looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape thoughtful, intuitive, and high-quality experiences for the people who use our products every day. In this role, you will design member-facing experiences that help people navigate their health journey with greater confidence, clarity, and motivation.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, clinical, data, and commercial partners to create intuitive, user-centered solutions from concept to execution, including discovery work, interaction and visual design, prototyping, and validation.

We’re looking for a designer who excels at simplifying complex challenges into impactful user experiences, cares deeply about craft and quality, has a strong track record of shipping meaningful work, brings a growth mindset, and is energized by learning quickly in unfamiliar domains.

Hinge Health is scaling with 51% year-over-year revenue gains and a member base expanding by over 47% annually. This role can directly power how we bring new programs to life and how members experience Hinge Health as we grow.

What You’ll Accomplish
  • Design end-to-end member experiences across key product surfaces, from early exploration to detailed execution and post-launch iteration.
  • Simplify complex health, behavior change, and program workflows into experiences that feel clear, supportive, and easy to use.
  • Create personalized and habit-forming product experiences that help members stay engaged and make progress over time.
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers, and clinicians to shape product direction and deliver meaningful outcomes.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative signals to inform design decisions, identify opportunities, and improve member outcomes.
  • Contribute to and extend our design system by creating scalable patterns, components, and interaction models.
  • Champion quality, accessibility, and inclusive design across the member experience.
  • Communicate design rationale clearly through flows, prototypes, frameworks, and storytelling that build alignment across teams.
Basic Qualifications
  • An updated portfolio that showcases strong product design craft, clear thinking, and shipped work with measurable impact.
  • 5+ years of product design experience, including experience partnering closely with product and engineering teams.
  • Experience designing and shipping consumer-facing digital products across mobile and/or web platforms.
  • Strength in interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking.
  • Experience taking work from ambiguous problem definition through execution and iteration.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain decisions and influence cross-functional partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, Service Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing products that support behavior change, engagement, or personalized journeys.
  • Experience working in healthcare, digital health, wellness, or other consumer products with meaningful real-world impact.
  • Comfort using research insights, experimentation, and product data to refine the user experience.
  • Experience designing across interconnected systems, multi-step flows, or complex service experiences.
  • Proficiency in prototyping to explore concepts, communicate motion and interaction, and de-risk ideas.
  • Experience contributing to design systems and improving product consistency at scale.
  • Curiosity about emerging tools, including AI-enabled workflows, and how they can improve the design process and product experience.
  • Passion for helping people live healthier lives through thoughtful design and technology.
