Job Overview
Cass Calder Smith Architecture + Interiors is growing, and we are looking for the right candidates to be a part of our talented team. Currently, we need an Interior Designer with 5+ years’ experience at our San Francisco office.
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in design and production, with proficiency in industry-standard software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across multiple sectors, including construction, interior design, system design, and more. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent technical skills, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities- Produce high-quality mood boards, graphic designs and visualizations for presentations and client proposals.
- Create accurate schematics, technical drawings, and drafting documentation for various projects.
- Utilize CAD tools to develop plans and details for interior layouts and millwork.
- Develop detailed 3D designs using software such as Sketch Up, Revit, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D
- Assist in construction documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to refine designs and incorporate client feedback effectively.
- 5+ years of professional experience in interior design.
- Professional or master’s degree from an accredited program.
- Experience in Residential and Commercial projects preferred.
- REVIT experience required.
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite programs.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering programs.
- Possess hand sketching and hand rendering skills.
- Familiarity with residential and commercial construction details and methods, and code requirements unique to commercial environments.
- Hands‑on approach.
- Ability to manage and produce a comprehensive specification package for architectural finishes and FF&E.
- Eagerness to work in a fast‑paced environment with a high level of responsibility.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Legal work status in the United States.
- Good communication skills and able to work in a team environment.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and ability
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000
