Position: Senior Product Designer, Document Cloud Mobile Growth

About the Opportunity

Adobe Design is looking for an experienced Senior Designer to join our Document Cloud team, contributing to high‑visibility projects by developing strategic design solutions, quality experiences, and scalable concepts for individuals and organizations on mobile devices.

Adobe Document Cloud products (which include Adobe Acrobat, Sign, and Scan, to name just a few) are ubiquitous in the lives and work of more than 600 million monthly active users. Document Cloud also remains the fastest growing cloud in all of Adobe.

The Document Cloud design team has a long and rich legacy, while still being recognized for innovation year after year. We were recognized for TIME’s Best Inventions of 2023 with our work in Liquid Mode.

About the Team

Adobe Design builds tools that amplify the world’s ability to create and communicate. We’re a distributed team of designers, researchers, prototypers, content strategists, program managers, and more who work across Adobe’s three product lines:
Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

About You

As a key design team member and inspiring leader on this team, you’ll play an integral part in crafting the next generation of productivity tools at Adobe! We are working on projects that help people consume, comprehend, create, and collaborate on documents in new ways. By collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, you will use data‑driven design to create engaging, user‑centered experiences that not only attract and retain users but also enhance the overall value proposition of our product.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers, product marketing, engineers, and other designers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Define design strategy, craft visions for products and experiences, and share with senior executives using your storytelling skills.
  • Understand and use data to inform design decisions.
  • Explore design ideas via sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
  • Establish consistency and efficiency throughout the design and development process by applying and evolving scalable design systems.
  • Elevate design quality through feedback and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • At least 3–5 years of industry experience in product design with a proven track record of success, and a strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design and cross‑platform execution.
  • A degree in design is not required, but equivalent experience, an exceptional portfolio, and a strong resume are.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools, including AI‑assisted development, design, and productivity tools.
  • Expertise leveraging data to define workflows and product‑led growth designs.
  • Knowledge of user‑centered design principles and methodologies for mobile design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and decisions to product partners.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with capability of working independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while working with teams across time zones and different geographic regions.
  • Experience working with product teams to bring design vision to life.
  • A love of all things design.
How to Apply

To be considered for this role, please submit your resume and portfolio. We’d like to see strong problem solving, elegant design solutions, how you collaborate across teams including engineering and product, and a proven ability to adapt your designs based on what you learn.
