Job Summary and Responsibilities:

Plural Studio seeks a landscape architect with 7+ years of experience to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will take ownership of key project components—from design development through construction—developing thoughtful design solutions, detailed construction documentation, and graphic drawings that communicate clear, compelling concepts. You’ll coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and consultants, including architects, engineers, MEP, irrigation, and joint trench teams, to ensure alignment, technical accuracy, and design excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

You’ll be responsible for integrating existing site features into resilient, context-sensitive designs while analyzing conditions such as drainage, grading, constructability, and code requirements to inform design decisions.

Additional responsibilities include leading the development and coordination of construction documents, preparing technical details and specifications, responding to RFIs and submittals, conducting construction observation and site inspections, evaluating materials and installations to ensure they meet the design intent, and working collaboratively with contractors to resolve field conditions. You may also represent the studio in client meetings and presentations to community groups and public agencies, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the technical growth of the team.

This role is ideal for someone who brings strong design thinking, technical expertise, construction observation experience, and the ability to confidently navigate complex, multi-disciplinary projects from concept through construction.
