The Opportunity

HUGE Design is an award‑winning industrial design studio located in the heart of San Francisco. Our multidisciplinary team has created consistent market success for clients around the world, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, across a wide range of industries including consumer electronics, appliances, medical devices, transportation, and emerging product categories.

Fueled by client goals, user needs, and a hands‑on design process, our work is driven by clarity, simplicity, and impact. We are looking for a hands‑on Industrial Design Intern to join our San Francisco studio and support the team through concept development, sketching, CAD, prototyping, CMF, rendering, and presentation storytelling.

• Strong communicator who can clearly share ideas, receive feedback, and contribute to team discussions.
• Excellent 3D CAD modeling and advanced surfacing skills
  , preferably in Solid Works. Experience in Rhino or Fusion 360 is also welcome.
• Strong visual communication skills
  , including sketching, layout, storytelling, and presentation development.
• Excellent Key Shot rendering skills
  , with the ability to create clear, polished, and compelling visuals.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced studio environment across a range of project phases, from early concept exploration to refined design development.
• Detail‑oriented and able to think through form, proportion, materials, CMF, and product details.
• Collaborative team player who is proactive, open to feedback, and excited to contribute in a small studio environment.
• Must be available to work in person, 5 days a week, at our San Francisco studio.
