Your Opportunity
You will work on tasks under the guidance of a Senior Interior Designer. This is an intermediate-level Interior Design Coordinator role with minimum 2 years of experience. You will support the interior design team and work collaboratively with the architectural team conceptualizing, developing, and documenting varying aspects of interior design of a project, including but not limited to space planning, interior architecture, interior materials and palette, specifications, FFE and signage.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Supportsinteriordesignteamsinthedevelopmentofdesigndocumentation
- Participatesinthedevelopmentofinteriordesigninaccordancewithcostparametersandensures interior design intent is maintained through documentation and construction.
- Developstheinteriordesignthroughsketches,electronic models,diagrams,andothervisualformatsto express the design intent and coordinate with Project Designer.
- UtilizesBIMtechnologiesinthedevelopmentofthree-dimensionalmodelsofinteriorsandtheir components.
- Participatesindesigncritiquesandpin-ups.
- Assistsinthevalidationthatdesigncomplieswithbuildingcodes,ADAguidelinesandLEEDperproject type and requirements.
- Assistsintheselectionsofinteriorsystemsandmaterials,finishesandfixtures.
- ParticipatesinthecompletionofFFEscopetasksfromdesignandselectionthroughbid,coordinating with specific client standards and project needs.
- Participatesinthecompletionofsignagecoordinationscopetasksfromdesignandselectionthrough bid, coordinating with specific client standards and project needs.
- Demonstratesacommitmenttotheprofessionandthefirmbyparticipating in and volunteering withaprofessional organization and working towards commercial interior design certification and/or licensure.
- Performs Construction Administrationtaskstosupportthescopeofwork .
