Position Overview
This is an architecture position, we are growing infrastructure design studio is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead architectural projects serving the water, power, transportation, and public works sectors. This role is ideal for a collaborative and proactive leader who excels at managing complex projects, fostering client relationships, and guiding multidisciplinary teams from project planning through construction.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead small to medium-sized architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
+ Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
+ Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships through regular communication, coordination meetings, and project documentation.
+ Direct and mentor Project Architects, Designers, and multidisciplinary consultant teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality design solutions.
+ Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, labor utilization, invoicing, and change/additional service management.
+ Develop innovative, attractive, and functional architectural designs tailored to public-sector clients.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
+ Licensed Architect with experience applying California building codes;
Oregon and/or Washington licensure is a plus.
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in a small to medium-sized architectural firm or studio environment.
+ Proven experience managing technically complex projects, including industrial, civic, commercial, administration, operations, laboratory, maintenance, public works, and transportation facilities.
+ Proficiency with:
+ Revit
+ Bluebeam
+ Deltek
+ Microsoft Office Suite
+ Other related architectural and project management software
Preferred Qualifications
+ LEED Accreditation preferred but not required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $128000.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
