Head of Product Design

• Lead a global team of 40+ product designers and leaders across Australia, the UK, the US, and Singapore
• Scale the product design organization’s practice, quality standards, systems, and culture globally
• Hire, develop, and retain a world‑class design team
• Expand the San Francisco‑based design studio
• Work closely with the CPO to shape the product experience strategy
• Own the design budget end to end, including contractors, tooling, learning, research, travel, and team building
• Steward and evolve the design organization’s operating principles
• Participate as a member of the Global Leadership Team

• Exceptional product and UX judgment from strategy through interaction patterns, information architecture, layout, and UX copy
• Generalist UX background with strong product sensibilities
• Track record of personally attracting, closing, and calibrating exceptional designers and design leaders
• Experience in fintech or a comparably complex product domain
• Experience managing senior design leaders across regions and time zones
• Experience running calibration, promotion, and organizational design systems
• Comfort with company‑level planning cycles, including OKRs, headcount plans, budgets, and leadership‑team collaboration

Demonstrates expertise in leading and scaling global product design teams, with a strong focus on UX judgment, organizational design, and strategic collaboration. Proven ability to attract and develop top design talent while managing complex budgets and operational principles.
