Butler Armsden Architects seeks an experienced Project Manager – I to lead multiple small to mid‑size residential design projects. The role involves managing key project components from concept through construction, ensuring design excellence against schedule and budget within a portfolio of 2–5 year projects with total construction costs $5–10M and professional fees $750K–1.5M annually.

• Manage all phases of multiple small to midsize projects and assist Senior PM on larger projects.
• Assess priority for smaller projects and coordinate with PMs on larger projects.
• Report to Senior Project Manager or higher.
• Develop and coordinate schedule and budget, monitoring adherence to terms.
• May participate in office‑wide staffing assignments.
• Handle presentations, design development, permitting, and production of working drawings and construction documents.
• Coordinate meetings, document meeting minutes, and record site conditions and construction development.
• Ensure adherence to office standards and filing systems.
• Maintain client contact and supervise project personnel on own projects.
• Capable of tasks and duties of Designer and Job Captain levels.

• Accredited degree in Architecture.
• 6–7 years minimum of professional, high‑end residential experience.
• May be licensed or non‑licensed and close to licensure.
• Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, collaborative, with exceptional problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced skill in 3D modeling/BIM software and 2D drafting (ArchiCAD preferred).
• Ability to manage teams.
• Knowledge of project management tools for initiation, planning, billings, and tracking labor.
